The Government announces the nomination of Ms. Marie-May Jeremie as the new Minister responsible for the newly restructured Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources.
Ms. Jeremie replaces Mr. Flavien Joubert, whose service and contribution to the Government are acknowledged with appreciation. The restructuring of the Ministry reflects the Government’s commitment to strengthening integrated policies on environmental protection, climate action, sustainable energy, and the responsible management of natural resources.
In her new role, Ms. Jeremie will oversee the coordination and implementation of national strategies aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, enhancing climate resilience, advancing clean and secure energy systems, and ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources.
