SIAH’s Graduation Ceremony

The event took place at the ICCS and was attended by several dignitaries, including the Speaker of the National Assembly, Honorable Roger Mancienne; the Minister for Agriculture, Climate Change, and Environment, Flavien Joubert; the Minister for Employment and Social Affairs, Patricia Francourt; and the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Honorable Sebastien Pillay. Additionally, staff from the SIAH, board members, parents, sponsors, and other guests were present to celebrate the occasion.

The ceremony included presentation of awards, certificates, and prizes to all the best performers of the institution. Fabio Morel, a student and graduate from Anse Royale, has been recognized as the outstanding student of the institute for the 2023-2024 cohort. Fabio has also earned the prestigious President Cup. Rebecca Benoit graduated with a Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping – Apprenticeship, followed by Jacob Isnard who graduated as the best performer in Advanced Certificate in General Agriculture and also the top performer in IGCSE Agriculture.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”27859″ img_size=”600×400″ onclick=”link_image” css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]The other three best Academic performers were: Stanley Dodin in Certificate Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping (Apprenticeship), Steffi Morel in Advanced Certificate Ornamental Horticulture and Landscaping, and Christopher Bastienne in Certificate in General Agriculture (Apprenticeship).

The Director, Mrs. Marianne Marie, emphasized SIAH’s role as a critical pillar in developing a skilled workforce for agriculture and landscaping. She also reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to youth development and national progress through education.
